Currituck County Wills
In the name of God Amen I Grifen GREGORY JUN., of Currituck County in the State of North Carolina, being very sick and weak in body but of sound mind and understanding do think proper to make this my Last Will and Testament.
Imprimis: I resign my soul in the hands of God Almighty in all humble hope of its proper existance as in the disposal of a being infinitely good, my body to the earth to be decently buried at the descretion of my executors hereafter mentioned and as to the temporal estate which the Lord of his goodness hath been pleased to bless me with I do order give and desire thereof as follows----
It is my will and I do order in the first place all my just debts to be paid.
Item: I give to my Two Sons Samuel GREGORY and William GREGORY my plantation and land joining containing one hundred acres to be equally devided when coming of age to them and their heirs forever.
Item: I give to my dearly beloved Wife Rachel GREGORY all the rest of my estate both within and without doors only one bed and furniture and one cow and calf to my Daughter Nancey GREGORY to her forever.
I do hereby nominate and appoint my loving Wife Rachel GREGORY and Timothy ETHERIDGE executors of this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of November 1789
