In the name of God Amen I Charles GUNTER of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God do this 22d day of September in the year of our Lord make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say

First I give and bequeath to my daughter Nancey GUNTER one bead and furniture and one good bead stead and one chest and one hand mill and one spinning wheel and one frying pan and one pot and three chairs and two washing tubs one pale and piggin to her and her heirs for ever, also I leave two axes and one hoe and my shoe makerrs tools and my part of the cropp to be sold for six months credit and after paying my debts the remainder of the money I give also to my Daughter Nancey STUM

I give to my Grandson Charles Williamson GUNTER one bed and furniture and one red chist to him and his heirs forever.

Also I give to my Grandson Robert MEDGES two tables and one pot and haugh(?) and one pare of flat iron and three chairs and one washing tub and one pale and piggin and one cross cutt saw one frow and drawing knife and one wolling wheel and one linning wheel and one cannew to him and his heirs for ever

And I hereby make and ordain my worthy friends Samuel THOMPSON and Wallis BRAY executors of this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I the said Charles GUNTER have to this my Last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written (note: no year was given above)

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Charles GUNTER ??? as his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who were present at the time of signing and sealing thereof
