In the name of god amen the twenty Six Day of october 1750 I Thomas IVES of the Cownty of Corotuck and In the province of North Carolina Planter Being Sick and weack in Boddy But of perfect mind and memory thanks Be given unto god theirfore Cawling unto mind the __telity of my Bodde and knowing that it is apointed for all once to Di Doe make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to Say prinsipal and furst of all I give and Recommend my Sowle unto the hands off god that give it and my Boddy I Recomend to the earth to Be buried In Desent Christain Buriel at the Discresion of my exectors nothing Douting But at the generel Resursction I Shawle Receve the Same againe By the mighty power of god and as touching Such worldly estate wheirwith it hath pleased god to Bles me in this life I give Divise? and Dispose of the Same in the following manner and form.
Imprimis I give and Bequeaue to my Deare Beloved wife Mary IVES all my house hold and movebal estate to hur one [own] proper use.
Item I give to my Daughter Elisabeth IVES my plantation wheare on I now live to hur and hur heirs of hur Boddy lawfully. I lickewise Constitute make and ordain my Beloved wife my hole and Sole executor of this my last will and testament. I Do heare by utterly Disallow Revoak and Disannul all and every other former testaments wills legaces and Bequests and executors B____ in any ways before named will and Bequeathed Rattified and Confirming this and no other to Be my last will and testament In witnes whearof I have heare unto Set my hand and Seal this Day and yeare above ritten.

These may Certife that John WOODHOUSE James PARKER & Rodi ALLEN appeared in open Court & on oath that they were Present & Saw Thomas IVES Signe publish declare the within to be & Contain his Last will & Testament & that the said Thomas IVES was then & at that time of Sound & Disposing Memory. Then also appeared his wife as Executrx in open Court & took the Excrs [cut off] in due form of Law. Ordered that the Honble Nathl RICE Secretary of the said province have Notice thereof that letters Testamentory Issue thereon as the Law Directs.
