North Carrolina Corotuck Presenct March the Ninteenth Day 1713/14

In the Name of God amen I Isack JACOB of ye aforsaid presenct being Sick and Weak of body but of Sound and perfect memmory thanks be to almightly God for it caling to minde ye uncertainty of this Life being Desiorous to Settell in order that Small Estate which ye Lord hath been pleased to bless me with do make and ordain this my Last will and Testament In maner and forme as foloweth ffirst and princapaly I give and Bequeath my Soul into ye hands of almighty God that gave it and my Body I commit to ye Earth to be buried in Decient maner at ye Descresion of my Executors here after named.

Item I give and Bequeth to my Dear Beloved Wife Sarah JACOB and her heirs for Ever one Negro Woman called Jane and her heirs for Ever.

Item I give and Bequeath to my Dear beloved wife Sarah JACOB the Half of my Estate Both with in Dors and with out to my Sd wife and her heirs forever to be equally Devided at ye Day of her marrig or at ye Day of My two Daughters marige (inserted line--"or at age") further I give and Bequeath to my Dear Beloved Wife Sarah JACOB and my Daughter Susanah JACOB my maner plantation at New Corotuck whereon I Lived and a tract of Land joyning to ye Same plantation and after my Wifes Death to fall to my Daughter Susanah JACOB and her heirs for Ever.

Item I give and Bequeath to my Daughter Jane JACOB and her heirs for Ever a tract of land in New Corotuck Lying on ye head of Deep Creek further I give to my Daughter Jane JACOB one Gold Ring Which was my owne Mothers Ring.

Item I give and Bequeath to my too Daughters Susana JACOB and Jane JACOB ye one half of my Estate to be Equally Devided between them when they com at age or maried.

Item I give and bequeth to John PROKTER one of ye appointed overseers of my Estate one young hors called Buchelder.

Item I give and Bequeath to Beniaman SANDERSON (inserted line--" ye other overseer apointed") too cows and calfs and he to have his choice out of ye whole Stock.

Item I Make Cotistute and appoint my Dear Beloved Wife my Whole and Sole Executor of my Estate after my Deseas ~ (inserted note--"in ye forth Line ye words or at age Interlind before assigned the words ye other overse____ (illegible) interlind before ______ (illegible)"
