The Last Will and Testament of Ivy A. JARVES Decd. was Exhibited at November Term 1836 and proved by the oath of Solo. ASHBEE and the Executor Qualifyed and ordered to be Recorded.

In the name of God Amen.

I Ivey A. JARVES of the County of Currituck & State of North Carolina being sick in body but of sound & disposing mind and memory do make & ordain this my Last Will & Testament in manner & form as follows

Item I give & bequeath unto my Brother Richard JARVES my two barrel gun unto him and his heirs forever.

I give and bequeath unto my Sister Polly WATERFIELD my musket to her & her heirs forever.

I give & bequeath unto my Brother Samuel JARVES all the property that heird from the death of my Brother Abel JARVES dec’d my land adjoining the land of said Samuel JARVES & all my banks land my negro girl Love and all my chattle property not given away unto him and his heirs forever.

Item I give & bequeath unto my Mother my chest & trunk & book case to her and her heirs forever.

Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister Lydia JARVES my little bed & furniture to her & her heirs forever and I do hereby make & ordain my Brother Samuel JARVES my executor to this my last will and testament.  In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 17th day of June 1836
