In the name of God Amen, I Sam. LEE of the County of Currituck, being in a low state of health but a sound mind and disposing memory Thanks be given unto God. Calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die I do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, that is to say, principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be burried in a decent christian burrial at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general resurrection that I shall receive the same again by the might power of God and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this world I give and divise and dispose of the same in the following manner.

Item I give and bequeath to my Son Mitchael LEE the plantation and land whereon he now lives as it is butted and bounded in the deed to him and his heirs forever.

Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Catharine ETHERIDGE one feather bed and furniture, one cow and calf, one gun, two head of sheep, one chest, one sow, and piggs, some copers ware to her and her heirs forever.

I give to my Daughter Catharine ETHERIDGE two cows and one earling, one mare colt, two iron potts, three sows and nine shoats, three pewter plates, one bason and pewter dish to one ceas(?) and all belonging to the ceas to one cubbard and all my earthen ware, one grind stone, and all my hoos and three head of sheep and my fouls and one weeding plow and all my coppers ware and all barrell to one box iron and two heaters and some junk bottles and one linning wheel and all my sitting chairs and two meal sifters and all my corn and pork to her and her heirs forever.

I give to my Daughter Catharine ETHERIDGE one large cannoe and my iron pot trammel and one quart pot and one jill pot and one coffee pot to her forever.

Item I give and bequeath to my son Phillip LEE all the rest of land except the tract to my Son Mitchael LEE that was before mentioned to him and his heirs forever.

I leave the rest of all the land that I have given to my Son Phillip LEE to my Daughter Catharine ETHERIDGE ten years.

I do ordain and appoint my Son Phillip LEE and Will ETHERIDGE executors to this my Last Will and Testament given from under my hand and seal this the 26th of Feb. 1804.
