In the name of God Amen, this sixteenth day of September one thousand seven hundred and eighty six I Jemima PARKER of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being in resonable states of health and of sound mind and memory Thanks be to God, there fore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all once to die, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, that is to say, Principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of God who gave it me and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent christian [worn off] descresion of my executors and as [bottom of page faded and illegible] it hath please God to bless me with in this life I give and dispose of the same in the following manner and form Viz.

Imprimis I give and bequeath to my Daughter Ann PARKER all my estate in doors and without to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I do appoint my daughter Ann PARKER my hole and sole executrix of this my Last Will and Testament revoaking all other will or wills before made ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
