In the name of God Amen I Isaih POYNER of the County of Currituck in the State of North Carolina being sick and weak of body but of sound and disposing mind and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and that it is appointed for man to die do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
Impremis I give and bequath to my Sister Dinah POYNER my land and plantation where on I now live to her and her heirs.
Item. After my just debts is paid I give and bequath to my Sister Dinah POYNER all the remainder of my property with in door and without to her heirs.
Lastly it is my will and desire and I hereby constitute and appoint ordain my trusty friends Hosea BALL whole and sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal this the 20th day of Septr 1827.
