North Carolina I Willis RUSSEL of Currituck County being in a very pore state of health yet of a sound mind and disposing memory Thanks be to God for it do constitute nominate and appoint this my Last Will and Testament.

Item: I give unto my dearly beloved Wife Lucey RUSSELL the use of all my land belonging to the plantation whereon I now live with all the other part of my estate whatsoever to assist her in raising and bringing up my three smallest children untell my Son Thomas RUSSELL comes of age.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son Thomas RUSSEL the plantation whareon I now live with the one half of my land to him and his heirs for ever.

Item: I give and bequeth to my Son Lemuel RUSSEL the other half of my land to be equally devided between them two Lemuel and Thomas.

My will and desire is that if either of my two Sons should die without heir lawfully begoten of there body that the hole of my land should fall to the other.

I do nominate constitute and appoint my Wife Lucey RUSSEL hole and sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament signd seald and delivered this thirty first day of March Ann Dom 1777
