Currituck CountyIn the name of God Amen. I Charles SEARS of the County and State afsd being weake in body but of sound disposing mind and memory blessed be God for the same, do make and publish this instrument of writing to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and form as followeth
Item. I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Rhodah SEARS all of the estate both rail and personal which she had or in any way posest of when I intermarried with her with all the stock, crop and provisions which is or will be raised on hur farm also the estate which she may acquire at any time from the estate of Andrew DUKE decd. to hur and hur heirs forever.
Item. Lastly I constitute and appoint my trusty friend and beloved Wife Rhodah SEARS my hole and sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have set my had and seale this 6th of Nov. 1825.

The Last Will and Testament of Charles SEARS was proved in open Court at Feby Term 1826 by the oath of C. ETHERIDGE in due form of law and ordered to be recorded. When the executrix came into open court and qualified in due form of law and ordered that letters testamentary issue.
