In the name of God Amen I Joshua SIM_____________ Currituck and State of North Carolina __________________ of a sound and disposing mind and ___________________ the same and calling to mind that it is ____________ to die and after death the judgment ______________ is the tim for man to dispose of his worl_______________ has been please God to bless me with ____________ my soul to Almighty God when it __________ and my body to be burried in a ___________ my exec. _________ have hereunto do ____________ follows:

Item: first of all _____________ on the Banks to be sold at _____________ Of my just debts __________ ___ fifty __________ River to be sold at publick sale by my exec. Hereafter mentioned for the payment of my just debts also I give and authorize my Exec. Hereafter mentioned full power to sell and make a deed of conveyance as above mentioned for the afsaid land and premises as on my power ____ also I leave and ___ is my desire that my Exec. Hereafter mentioned should sell at publick sale as much of my personally property after my death as will pay my just debts and the remainder I dispose of in the form and manner as follows,

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Son Solomon SIMPSON one feather bed and furniture which he has already got in his possesion one cow and calf at the Bank read and white to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son Siar SIMPSON the land and _______ and houses whereon I now live containing fi__ _________ or less first reserving the use of the afsaid ________ and houses to my Wife Nancey SIMPSON __________ natural life her taking care and maintain __________ said Son Siar untill he comes to age to take _________ clare of any expense to him and to him and _______ lawfully begotten of his boday and if my ______ Siar SIMPSON should die without an heir ________ begoten of his boday then and in that case I give ________ said mentioned land and premises where on I _____ to my Son Sanuel SIMPSON first reserving _________ of the same to my Wife as before mentioned __________ his heirs lawfully to be gotten of his body _________.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Daughter P_____ ___  feather bead and furniture one spinning ____________ to her and to her heirs lawfully to be ________________.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Daughter __________________ feather Bead and furniture one linnen wheel ____________ my Wife one chest to her and to her heirs forever.

_____________________ of my personal property here after mentioned ______________ ________ SIMPSON during her natural life as follows _________________ and calves one feather bead and furniture and _________________ I lend to my Wife during her natural ___________________ personal property which I have not _________________ within doors and without of all __________________ children clare of any ___________________________ come to the age to take care of themselves and after her death it is my will and desire that all the property that I have lent the use of to my Wife as aforesaid should be sold by my executor hereafter mentioned and the money arising from the sail the afsaid lent property to be equally divided between my __________ __________ SIMPSON and Samuel SIMPSON to them and to their heirs for ever and lastly I nominate constitute make and appoint my Thomas SANDERSON esq. My whole and sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament for saking and disanulling all other will or wills here to fore by me made in testamony whereof I have hereto fore set my hand and seal this 21st day of November Anno Dom 1807.
