The last Will and Testament of Dudley SMITH was exhibited at May term 1838 and duely proven by the oath of Ezekiel BEASLEY and Joshua BEASLEY subscribing Evdences there unto in due form of Law and ordered Recorded.
In the name of God amen. I Dudley SMITH of Currituck County State of North Carolina being inferm of body But in perfect mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament in maner as following viz.
I Give and bequath to my wife Sally SMITH two beds and furniture Also my meal and cotton to my said wife.
I leve to be sold all my other furniture. Also my hogs and cattle and canoe. I leave my mare to be sold after Crop is over and my Colt to be sold Also with my other Property all the neat proceeds of my property to be divided among my present children. I now leave to settle my estate John B. JONES or Ezekiel BEASLEY my Executors. I do here set my hand & seal this the 16th of April 1838
