The Last Will and Testament of Thomas SPANN dec’d exhibited & proved May Term 1825.
In the name of God Amen. I Thomas SPANN of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, being in a low state of bodily health, but of sound mind, disposing memory do think it expedient to dispose of my worldly estate in manner as follows:
Item: after paying my just and lawful debts, I give and devise all the rest and residue of my estate to my loving wife Frances SPANN.
Item: Leave my loving Wife Frances SPANN executor this my Last Will and Testament I do hereunto set my hand and seal this the Twelth day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Five.
