In the name of God amen The ig day of auguts 1749 being Sick in body but of good and Sound and memory In the name of god amen The 19 day of august 1749 I Richard STONE of North Carliner Curtuck County being Sick in body but of good and Sounding memory thanks be to almighty god and Calling to Remembrance the uncertain Estate of this transitory Life and that all Flesh must yield to death when it Shall plese God to Call do make Constitute and Ordain and declare this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form Following

Items I Give and bequath unto my beloved wife the plan Land where one I now live During her Life time and after her Life to my Dauftur Alef STONE to She and hur Ears.

Like wise I give and bequath unto my daurter Mar Amay STONE one hundred akers of Land Lying and being upon the huteing quarters to She and hur Ears for E.

Like wise I give and bequath Unto my beloved wife my Land in fore Virgine in precess an [Princess Anne] to Sell and the money to be at hur Disposhel.

Items I give and bequath unto my Daurter mary PARKER one Large Turn table and one young mare.

Items I give and bequath unto my Son in Law John PARKER parte of a Large Connew if he will help to finishar her and if he will not help to finish her I give my part of her to wilaby DAUG if not I give my part to Wilaby DAUG.

Items I give and bequath unto my Daughtur Alaf STONE one Cow and Calf and one pare of hand millstone and one pear of orin [iron] weges.

Items I give and bequath unto my Daughtur Amay STONE one bed and furntud and one Small orin [iron] pot.

Items I give and bequath unto John DAY DAUGE Son of Peter DAUGE my gun.

Items I give and bequath unto my beloved wife all the Rest of my Estate her Life time and after her Life time to my Three youngs Da[rest of word cut off] if She dis before thay Com to age I desier that it Shuld be Sould at publick Sail fore them and I Leave my wife Sinna STONE and Peter DA[rest of word cut off] my Exetures of my Last will in Testament As Witnes As Witness my hand and Seal.

Present His Majestys Justices
    These may Certify that John WHITEHURST & Peter DAUGE Evidences to ye within Will apeared in open Court and made Oath on the Holy Evangelists that they were present & Saw Richard STONE Sign Seal Publish and Declare the within to be & contain her last Will & Testament & that ye said Richard STONE was then & at that Time of Sound & Disposing Memory.  Then also appeared Sinna STONE one of the Exors in the said will and in open Court took ye Exors Oath in due form of Law.  Ordered that the Honble Nathaniel RICE Esqr Secretary of said Province have Notice thereof that Letters Testementory Issue thereon as the Law Directs.
