I Susan TATUM of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina do make this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows to wit:
Item 1st. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth DOXEY one loom to her and her heirs forever.
Item 2nd I give and bequeath unto my daughter Polly HARRIS one bed and furniture to her and her heirs forever and lastly I nominate and appoint my brother Isaac FLORA my whole and sole executor to this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other former will or wills heretofore by me made as witness my hand and seal this 2nd of Oct 1847.

Signed sealed published and declared this to be my last will and testament in presence of
John L. COX juratCurrituck County Court - Nov. Term 1852
A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Susan TATUM was produced in open court and the execution of the same proved by the oath of John L. COX witness thereto in due form ordered recorded and at the same time Isaac FLORA appeared and qualified as Executor.Attest: B.T. SIMMONS, CCC
