Robt Tucker of Curratuck prect of North Carolina & in ye County of Albemarle being sick in body but of sound and perfect mind & memory thanks be to God therefore calling to mind ye uncertainty of this life & ye Certainty of death Doe therefore make this My last will & Testament revoking & disannulling all former & other wills by me heretofore made I Doe ordaine this to be my last will & testament in manner & form followingIn ye name of God Amen I
First I resigne my Soul to god that gave it and my body to ye earth from whence it was taken hopeing for a joyfull resurrection at ye last day thro ye merrits and Sattisfaction of Jesus Christ my most blessed Saviour & redeemer, and as touching that worldly estate it hath pleased Almighty god to bestow upon me I give devise & bequeath in manner & form following.
Imps I give to my Son
Willm Tucker all my land lying and joining on Wm? / Mrs? Muncreaf land to him & his heirs For ever and if he without heir that then it shall fall to ye next heir at __?__.I give & bequeath to my Loving Wife
Mary Tucker all my Moveable estate real & personall wheresoever & whatsomeever which I Now am possessed with all for and during ye term of her naturall life if she shall remain a Widdow, but if she shall marry to another person after my decease then I give Bequeath only her third part of Sd Estate and ye remainder after ye Marriage to be equally devided among all my Children and doe ordaine & appoint my Sd loving wife Mary to be sole executor of this my last will & testamt sett my hand & seal this 3d day of June 1719./s/
