Thomas Wallace
Jan. 25, 1746/47 - Apr. 27, 1747

In The Name of God Amen.

I Thomas WALLACE of Currituck County and Province of North Carolina Being Very weak and Low in health but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to Almighty God for the Same and Realizing? the mortality of my Body knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die I therefore Recommend my Soul into the hands of god who gave it me and my body to the ground to be Buryed in a Decent manner at the Discretion of my Executrix hereafter mentioned and? _______ but at the General Resurrection I Shall Receive the Same again by the mighty Power of god and as Touching my worldly Estate wherewith it hath Pleased God to Bless me with I [bleed thru] of in the following form and manner to witt

Imprimis -- I Give and Bequeath to my Loving Wife Sarah WALLACE my perriuger with all the necesseris therto? belonging to her and two Guns?.

Imprimis -- I Give [several words unreadable] one young mare with all her Increas.

Imprimis -- I also Give unto my Loving wife [crease] five? head of sheep [crease] with all their Increas and all my hogs Either in my mark or any other that shall be known to be mine by Lawful Parchass.

Imprimis -- It is my will and Desire that all my Sheep be Equally divided between my Loving wife Sarah WALLACE and my Daughter Barbara WALLACE to be Divided by two Such men as my Said wife Shall appoint.

Imprimis -- I also Give and Bequeath unto my daughter Barbara WALLACE five head of _____ heifers to be Delivered to her when She Comes to age or married and all the Rest of my Cattle to be Equally Divided between my Said wife and Daughter.

Imprimis -- I also Give unto my Daughter Barbara WALLACE one feather Bedd and furniture to be Delivered to her when She comes to age.

Imprimis -- It is also my Desire that  all my Ouster [Oyster?] be Equally Divided between my Said Wife and Daughter.

Imprimis -- Moreover I Give unto my Loving wife Sarah WALLACE one feather Bedd and furniture.

Imprimis -- It is my Will and Desire that all the Rest of my movable Estate be  Equally Divided between my Said Wife and Daughter by two Such men as my Said wife Shall appoint for that Purposs.

Imprimis -- And it is my Desire that my Loving Wife Sarah WALLACE may keep my Said Daughter Barbara WALLACE and bring her up at her Discresion.

Imprimis -- I maKe and Constitute my Loving Wife Sarah WALLACE my my Lawfull and Sole Executrix to this my Will and Testament.

Imprimis -- And I Doe utterly Denye Disallow and make Void all other will or Wills Testament or testaments Whatsoever Either made by me or by my Directions from the Beginning of the world unto this Present Day In witness whereof I have Hereunto written and Subscribed my hand and Seal on this twenty fifth Day of January In the year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven Hundred and forty Six Seven.
