The Last Will and Testament of Sarah WATERFIELD dec’d. was exhibited in open court at May Term 1848 and the execution of the same proved by the oaths of A. SMITH and Johnson T. WHITE subscribing witnesses thereto in due form of law ordered recorded.
In the name of God Amen. I Sarah WATERFIELD of Currituck County North Carolina do this the thirtyeth day of October in the year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty Seven make and publish this my last will and Testament in the manner following.
That is to say I give and bequeath unto my Son James WATERFIELD the following property to wit One cupboard one feather bed & furniture one blue and white counterpane four chairs together with all that I own or possess. I also make and ordain my Son James WATERFIELD Executor to this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal day and year above written.
