State of No. Carolina Currituck County

In the name of God Amen.  I Sarah WEST, being in a good and sound state of health, at presant and memory, thanks be God for it, and knowing that it was once appointed for all men and woman to die, and after death a judgment for which I think it proper or necessary to make this my Last Will and Testament. Viz.

I give and bequeath to Son Joshua WEST one dollar and my Daughter Sarah HILL the property that I have already lent or give her and to her heirs if any by her body for ever, and if no heirs or heir of her body the said property to be equally divided among Soloman WALLIS heirs. And my Daughter Courtney WALLIS I give and bequeath one dollar to her forever. And as for all the rest of my property to praised and divided into three parts and one third of the said property after divided to Sarah HILL as afore mentioned if any heir of her body and if not to Solloman WALLIS heirs, to be equally divided as before mentioned as for the other two thirds of my property which is all I give and bequeath to the heirs of Courtney and Soloman WALLIS for ever, and none of it to be sold, but keep for said heirs till they come to age or said Soloman WALLIS dies, which I appoint James COWELL my whole and sole executor of this my Last Will and Testament, and also Guardian to take care of the said property till said heirs comes to age or needs as aforementioned. This the 19th of October 1809.
