Currituck County Wills
In the name of God Amen, I Mary Ann WHITE in the County Currituck being mindfull of my mortality do this 29th day of Decem. in the year of our Lord 1793 make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner following.
Item I give and bequath to my beloved Son Thomas WHITE all my land and plantation whereon I now live given to me by my Father to him and his heirs for ever. also it is my will that if my said Son Thomas WHITE should die in his minority or without heir then the said land to desend to my beloved Niece Nancy STANDLEY to her and her heirs for ever.
Also after all my just debts are paid, I give to my beloved Son Thomas WHITE the whole of the residue of my estate consisting of horses, cattle, hogs household furniture, and to be under direction or disposal of my executors here- after named it is also my will and desire if my said Son Thomas WHITE should die in his minority or without heirs as afore said then the whole of my estate both real and personal I give to my beloved Niece Nancy STANDLEY to her and her heirs forever.
I do hereby appoint my trusty friends my Broth. Evan STANDLEY and Edmund SAWYER executors to this my Last Will and Testament in witness I have hereunto sett my hand and seal the day and year above written.
