The Last Will and Testament of Nancy WHITHURST decd. was exhibited in open court at May Term 1843 and the execution of the same proved by the oaths of William LARRANCE and Thomas M. JONES subscribing evedences there to in due form ordered Recorded.
I Nancy WHITHURST of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
Item I give and bequeath unto dear daughter Mandy GRIMSTEAD all the money that my brother Caleb WARD owes me in promisary notes. also three dollars and thirty three cents which my brother James R. WARD owes me. also one bed and furniture and lining wheel also one large wheel one chest and clothing to her and her heirs for ever. also one loom.
I nominate my Brother James R. WARD sole executor this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal February the 18 day 1843.
