Currituck County Wills
In the name of God Amen, I Elizabeth WILLIAMS of Currituck County and State of North Carolina, being weak in body but of a sound disposing mind etc. Thanks be to God for the same do make and ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner following to say --
First I recommend my soul to God who gave it, and my body to be decently burried.
Second and what worldly goods it has been pleased God to bless me with, I lend the use of at the discrestion of my executor hereafter named, dueing her natural life to my Daughter Sarah and after her decease to be divided between her two children Peggy and Susanna, that is to say that the estate I may leave shall always be at the direction and control of my executor that there may be no waiste.
In testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal and published this be my Last Will and Testament and nominate and appoint my Son Tho. Pool WILLIAMS executor to this my Last Will May 22 1796.
