Currituck County Wills
In the name of God Amen, I John WILLIAMS SEN., of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, being in my perfect sences and strength memory Thanks be to God for the same but calling to mind the mortality of my body do make and ordain this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament.
First I recomend my soul to Almighty God who gave it me and my body to be burred at the decression of my executor hereafter to be named and I desire that all my just debts be punctually paid and the remainer of my estate I dispose of in manner and form following
Imperenuse I give and bequeath to my Son Charles WILLIAMS two cows and calves and one feather bed and furniture and one iron pot and all the wild hogs to him and his eres for ever.
Item I gave and bequeath to my Dafter Mary BARROT fiftay acors of land laying to the southword of my plantation on the North Banks in Currituck County, seven head of ould sheep and two lambs, six head of cattle at Thos. RUARKs, one at Charles WILLIAMS to her and her ares for ever.
Item I give and bequeath to my Grandson Danniel one horse by the name of Spark, bridle and sadle and fifty acorses of land coled my plantation on the North Banks Currituck County, one brass kittle to him and his eares for ever.
Item I give and bequeath to my Grand Dafter Diannah WILLIAMS one iron pot to her and her eares for ever.
Item My hole and sole desire is that the remainder of my property to be equally divided between my three Grand Children by name Diannah and Danniel and Easther to them and ther ears for ever.
Item I give and bequeath to my Son Charles WILLIAMS the hoel of my corn and potators to him and his ears forever.
I do nominate order and apint Charles WILLIAMS my Son to be my whole and soul executor to this my Last Will and Testament in testimony whareof I have this twentyninth day of December 1797 signed sealed published pronounced and declared this instrument of writing to be my Last Will and Testament in the presents of the subscribing witnesses.
