In the name of god amen.
I Robert WILLIAMS of the State of North Carolina and County of Currituck do on the Eight day of July one thousand Eight hundred and Ninety three do publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit: first I lend unto my Wife Rhoda WILLIAMS all of My land that I now own or may own at the time of my death and for her to have all the benefit of the Same. I also give unto my Said wife all of my personal property during her natural life time for her to dispos[e] off [sic] as she chooses but after the death of my wife Rhoda WILLIAMS I give unto my Male children all of my land the names are Thomas D. WILLIAMS James WILLIAMS Anderson WILLIAMS Charles WILLIAMS Walter WILLIAMS Calvin WILLIAMS and Henry WILLIAMS for them to devide Equally among them Selves but my Son Thomas WILLIAMS to hold the buildings that may be on the north End tract of land as they already belong to him but my Male children to hold the Said land Must pay my daughters Rhoda WATERFIELD Mary Eliza WHITE Lydia FENTRESS Ann WILLIAMS and Emily WILLIAMS one hundred dollars Each and after the death of my Said wife all of the personal property that may be at the time that She (over)
dies that belonged to me I leave my Executors Thomas WILLIAMS and Charles WILLIAMS two of my Sons whom I hereby appoint to Sell all of the Said personal property and Equally devide among all of My heirs Male and female in witness I hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 8th day of July A.D. 1893.

Currituck County} In Re Estate of Robert WILLIAMS, deceased
A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Robert WILLIAMS, dec'd., is exhibited in open court for probate by Thomas WILLIAMS & Charles WILLIAMS, the executors therein named; and the due execution thereof by the said Robert WILLIAMS, dec'd. is duly proven by the oath and examination of S.J. WATERFIELD and Walter BRUMLEY, subscribing witnesses thereto: and it is further shown to the satisfaction of the Court by said witnesses that the said Robert WILLIAMS was, at the time of making said will, of sound mind and memory, of full age to execute a will and under no restraint to their knowledge, information or belief.
It is thereupon considered, adjudged and decreed, that said proof is sufficient and according to law and that said paper writing is and contains the last will and testament of Robert WILLIAMS, dec'd. And on motion it is ordered that said will be admitted to probate and recorded in the Book of Wills of Currituck County as such filed as provided by law in the office of Clerk of Superior Court of said County.
It is further ordered that said Thomas WILLIAMS & Charles WILLIAMS be allowed to qualify as executors as provided by law and enter upon the discharge of the duties imposed by said trust. Said executors qualified by taking the oath prescribed by law and letters testamentary with will annexed were granted them, Dated this 4th day of September 1893.

I, Thomas WILLIAMS & Charles WILLIAMS, each for himself, do solemnly swear or (affirm) that I believe this writing to be and contain the last Will and Testament of Robert WILLIAMS deceased; and that I will well and truly execute the same by first paying her debts and then her legacies, as far as the said estate shall extend, or the law will charge me; and that I will well and faithfully execute the office of an executor agreeable to the trust and confidence reposed in me, and according to law, so help me God.

Currituck County } In the Matter of the Last Will of Robert WILLIAMS
Thomas WILLIAMS & Charles WILLIAMS, being duly sworn, doth say: That Robert WILLIAMS, late of said county, is dead, having first made and published her last Will and Testament; and that Thomas WILLIAMS & Charles WILLIAMS is the executor named therein.
Further, that the property of the said Robert WILLIAMS consisting of real estate, stock and other chattels is worth about $1500 so far as can be ascertained at the date of this application; and that Thos. WILLIAMS, Jas. WILLIAMS, Anderson WILLIAMS, Charles WILLIAMS, Walter WILLIAMS, Calvin WILLIAMS, Henry WILLIAMS, Rhody WILLIAMS (widow), Rhoda WATERFIELD, Mary E. WHITE, Lydia FENTRESS, Ann WILLIAMS and Emily WILLIAMS are the parties entitled under said will to the said property.
