The Last Will and Testament of Thomas WILLIAMS, being sick and week of body but of perfect mind and sound memory Thanks be to the Almighty God for it and knowing that it is appointed unto all men once to dy do make and ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say first I recommend my sole to all mighty God and my body to be burreded at the discretion of my executors hereafter mentched first it is my will and desire is that all my just depts be duely paid and discharged.

Item: I lend the use of my plantation and land and march that I bought of Charles BRENT to my Sun William WILLIAMS during his natrel life and after his decease I give and bequeath to my Grandson Dorustus WILLIAMS the aforesaid plantation land and marsh to him and his heirs forever and if my Grandson Dorustus WILLIAMS should dy without lawful heire or eshue of his body then I give and bequeath of said plantation land and marsh to my Grandafter Fawnia WILLIAMS and the heirs of her body forever and in case she should dy without here or eshue then give and bequeseth afsd. plantation and land to the next heir of the body of my Son William WILLIAMS forever. Likewise I lend the use of one negro wench called Dinah and her issures to my Son William WILLIAMS during his life and after his decease the wench and her incress to be equely divided between my two Grandchildren Fawnia WILLIAMS and Dorustus WILLIAMS and ther heirs forever, likewise I lend my Son William WILLIAMS the use of one hand mill for the space of ten years not to be removed from the plantation.

Item: I give and bequeath my Dafter Mary WILLIAMS the first child that my negro wench Nancy brings that lives to the age of two years to be delivered to the afsd. Mary WILLIAMS without any caust or charge for rasing the afsd. child.

Item: I give and bequease to my Dafter Mary ETHERIDGE one negro wench called Nancey and what household goods she is persent with to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequesse to my Grandson Caleb ETHERIDGE the one half of a tract of land containing one hundred and seventy five acres commonly cald long leach the part whereon Thomas GLASGO lived to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequease to my Grand Son Malachi ETHERIDGE one cow that I lent to my Dafter MARY ETHERIDGE called by the name of Star and her increase to him and his hers forever.

Item: I give and bequease to my Son Zebulon WILLIAMS the plantation and pair [cut off page] of the land I now live on to the head of Daniel GLASGO line a westly corse to Amos ETHERIDGE line and one negro boy named Leaney to him and his heirs forever and in case he dys without lawfull hare or ishue for the afsd. land to be equely divided between his three youngest Sisters Anne WILLIAMS, Ledia WILLIAMS, and Mary WILLIAMS reserving my Wifes thirds in the afsd. land for her during her nateral life.

Item: I give and bequeath my Dafter Anne WILLIAMS the remander part of my land from the head of Daniel GLASCO line to Amos ETHERIDGE line and from thence to the creak and all the marsh thereunto be longing and one negro wench calde Serv and her incress to her and her heirs forever and if she should dy without lawfull ishue of her body the afsd. land is to be equelly divided between her Sisters Leda and Mary and the wench likewise and their heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeasse to my Dafter Leda WILLIAMS one peec of a tract lind containing fifty acres more or less that I bought of James BRENT being part of a tract that Charles BRENT pattened beginning att a hickery [off page] William SWANs line thence along a line of marked trees near eastard corse to a maple standing in the beaver dam thence running and begining on the sd. beaver dam to the sd. swamp line to the first station to her and her heirs forever and in case she dys without lawfull heir or ishue to fall to her two Sisters Anne and Mary and her heirs forever.

Item: I lend to my beloved Wife Ledia WILLIAMS the use and leabor of my negro fellow Glasco during her widowhood and in case she marre or dys my will and desire is that the said negro fellow shold be hired out for money by the decsision of my executors and the money to be apply by the executors to the use of suporting and education of my three youngest children.

Item: I lend to my Wife during her widowhood all the rest of my estate both personel and real that is not all redy mentied and at her marriage for it all to be equelly divided bettwen my Wife and four children that I had by her furthermore I do constitute and appoint my Wife Ledia WILLIAMS and Sun William WILLIAMS and Mr. John HUGHS my hole and sole executors of this my Last Will and Testament revoking and disanulling all other wills as witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 29th day of July Anno Dom. 1761.
