Indian Town October 24th 1799

In the name of God Amen, I Thomas Pool WILLIAMS being well in body and sound disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament to say first, it is my will and desire that my executor hereafter mentioned pay all my just debts.

Second I give and bequeath all my lands and plantation at Indian Town in Currituck County to my Son Samuel WILLIAMS also one tract of juniper swamp near the three creeks of one hundred and fifty acres that formerly belonged to my Father.

Thirdly I leave all my negroes to be divided between my Wife Elizabeth WILLIAMS, my Daughter Peggy and my Son Samuel.

Fourthly I leave all my lands not given away to be sold at six and twelve monthes credit and after my debts are paid the residue of my estate to be divided between my Wife, Daughter, and Son before mentioned

In testimony I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date before mentioned

I nominate and appoint Malachi SAWYER Esq. of Camden County my whole and sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament to make sale of my lands before mentioned and to execute this instrument of writing in every respect whatever. In witness I have set my hand and seal this 24th Oct. 1799
