Asa & Sarah (Twiford) Cahoon

Asa M. Cahoon was born May 18, 1876 in Tyrrell Co., NC to Benjamin Franklin Cahoon & Sarah A. Meekins. He married Sarah Elizabeth Twiford in East Lake, NC. Sarah was born in East Lake to Manliff Dickerson Twiford & Zenovia Adeline Basnight on April 19, 1884. Asa and Sarah had 5 children:
   1) Frank Marvel Cahoon (1907-1987)
   2) Bazemore Cahoon (1909-1909) twin
   3) Calvin Cahoon (1909-1909) twin
   4) Emil Loubert Cahoon (1910-1947) twin
   5) Wilbur Wright Cahoon (1910-1975) twin
Asa died August 31, 1942 and Sarah died Nov. 1, 1965. Both are buried in the East Lake Baptist Church Cemetery.
