Working at the Kitty Hawk Station

Dan Creedon Midgett, Sr., son of Zion Scarborough Midgett and Lucretia Wahab Midgett, was born in Waves on January 2, 1896.  He married Lois Gertrude O'Neal (1901-1984) on July 4, 1920 and they had four children: Hilda Estelle, Dan C., Jr., William Rasso, and Lindsay Carroll.  Dan Sr. died in Elizabeth City, NC on May 20, 1985 and Lois died in Elizabeth City, NC on May 24, 1984.  Both are buried in the Manteo Cemetery.
