I, Henry Jordan Creef of Dare County, State of North Carolina, being of sound mind and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make and publish this as for my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void every and all other will or wills by me made at any time heretofore.1 Item: I give, devise, and bequeath to my son John E. Creef. 1st all that certain tract of land that I purchased from D.B. Sawyer and wife more fully described in deed dated June 9th, 1898, and recorded in Register of Deeds Office at Manteo, N.C. in Book “D.” Page133. 2nd that certain part of parcel of land whereon I now live. Beginning at the main road at the west corner of the lot. Running North 9 ½ degrees East to the greenleaf or back line to the above described D.B. Sawyer tract, and to his heirs and assigns forever. I further give him my horse and cart and one third of my Household and Kitchen furniture.
2nd Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Carthilla Creef. 1st a certain piece or parcel of land adjoining the land given to my son John E. Creef and beginning at his westward corner at the main road, and running westwardly along the road 1 chain and 75 links, to a post. Thence North 9 ½ Degrees east to the Greenleaf or back line. Thence eastwardly along said back line to John E. Creef’s line, thence along said line southwardly at the beginning. 2nd All that certain tract or parcel of land given to me by Truxton Creef deceased by will dated June 18th, 1877, containing 5 acres running with Edwin Sawyers road and the lake side, to hold the same to her heirs and assigns forever. And I further give and bequeath to her one third of my household and kitchen furniture.
3rd Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Ann Creef all the remainder of the tract of land whereon I now live from the westward line of the parcel given to my daughter Carthilla, westwardly to the Martin Creef tract of land. To hold the same to her heirs and assigns forever. And I further give her one third of my household and kitchen furniture.
In witness thereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 24th day of June 1912.

I, D.C. Twiford, a Justice of the Peace in and for Dare County, North Carolina, do hereby certify that W.P. Basnight came personally before me this day and being duly sworn says that he is a subscribing witness to the will of Henry Jordan Creef, dated the 24th day of June 1912, and that as such subscribing witness affiant saw the testator sign said will and that at the request of said testator affirmeth. J.F. Holmes and Lonie Creef Basnight signed their names to said will as subscribing witnesses. This 24 day May 1915.
