Dare County, Sept. 18, 1935I, Rosser Midgett make this my last will and Testament.
Item One. I will to my nephew Charles P. Dough my homestead on the Northend of Roanoke Island. He is to pay me ($1000. Thousand Dollars $500 Dolars to be paid at once. Balance twenty five Dollars per month until Balanceof $500 Dollars is paid (Item 2) I give to my sister Sophia Elizabeth Dough my Land adjoining the Basnight Land and W.G. Drinkwaters land containing Four acres more or less. (Item # 3) I Give to my friend Thos. D. Etheridge my Grass Island on North East side of Roanoke Island, Known as Lizzie Lump containing one acre more or less, situated on Roanoke Sound. (Item 4) My cattle on Boddy Island I give to my sister Lizzie Dough and all my Household and Kitchen property.

It is therefore considered and adjudged by the Court that the said paper writing and every part thereof is the last Will and Testament of L.R. Midgett, deceased. Let said Will, together with the probate, be recorded and filed. This 21st day of March, 1936.
