Mrs. Bella Hill Eason, 82, of 711 Peyton Ave, died Wednesday at 11:50PM, at Watts Hospital. She had been a patient at the hospital for one day and had been in declining health for several years.
\nSurviving are her husband, Troy I Eason, one son Fred Hill of Maryland; one stepson Troy Eason of Raleigh; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Cathleen Loye of Durham, Miss Carrie M Eason of West Haven, Conn and Mrs. Grace Powell of Smithfield; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
\nShe was born Nov 7, 1885 in Apex, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Jessie McDade*. She had been a resident of Durham most of her life. She was first married to Roland Hill who died in 1918. She was next married in 1927 to Troy I Eason. She was an Advent Christian.
\nFuneral services will be held Saturday at 2PM at the Hudson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.<\/p>\n
