Mr. S.W. Anderson, of Wilson, a member of the Junior Class, has
\nreturned to College and resumed his work.<\/p>\n
Prof. P.T. Durham has returned from Milton where he went to fill an
\nengagement. He leaves Saturday for Raleigh where he is to deliver an
\naddress in Central Church Sunday.<\/p>\n
Mr. Stewart Mims, brother of Prof. Edwin Mims, has recently been
\nelected to the Faculty of Bell Buckle Training School in Tennessee,
\nand this morning to assume his new duties. Mr. Mims is a member of
\nthe Junior class and has the best wishes of all his associates.<\/p>\n
Saturday evening the Current Topics Club held its regular meeting.
\nSome advantages of reading Papers and Magazines was discusses by Dr.
\nFew, Prof. Gill spoke of the \u201cGreat Scholars Now Living,\u201d and Prof.
\nFlowers spoke on \u201cCecil Rhodes.\u201d The Current Topics Club has afforded
\nthe opportunity for discussing questions of public interest. It is
\nalways well attended and is important factor in College life.<\/p>\n
The County Commissioners have taken steps to extend Main Street to the
\nwest. The authorities of the College have given permission for the
\nroad to run through the front part of the campus. This road is to be
\nwide and out through West Durham and will provide a boulevard
\nwhich will be a popular driveway. This extension will add much to the
