Death of Hon. John M. Trotman Suffolk, Va., March 9 – Hon. John M. TROTMAN, a member of the North Carolina Legislature from Gates county, is dead.  The end came last night in Raleigh.  The remains passed through Suffolk this afternoon, and were taken to Gates county on a special train over the Suffolk and Carolina.  The regular passenger train had gone, and the special was made up to leave at 5:45. The body was accompanied by a single daughter of the deceased, who had gone to Raleigh during her father’s illness, and by Hon. W.D. WELCH, the member from Chowan county.  The funeral will take place in Gates county…
