RIDDICK<\/strong>, postmistress of Gatesville, N.C., who died of a surgical shock in a Columbus (Ohio) hospital, arrived in Suffolk last night and were today shipped to Gatesville via Gates station for burial. \u00a0<strong>Mrs. RIDDICK<\/strong> had something like a tumor and went to Columbus for attention. \u00a0The operation killed her. \u00a0The deceased was the widow of the late <strong>Patrick RIDDICK,<\/strong> former sheriff of Gates county, and was a daughter of the late <strong>Mills EURE<\/strong>. \u00a0She was a sister of <strong>Mrs. William Jesse SAVAGE<\/strong>, Wiggins Cross Roads, N.C. and of <strong>Mrs. PARKER<\/strong>, Plymouth, NC.
