WPA Cemeteries- Halifax County Part 1 of 3 |
|||||
These cemeteries were surveyed in the 1930's & 1940's as part of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) for the State of North Carolina. Following listings are included on the NC Digital Collection of the State Archives website. While the original listings contain a number of misspellings and typographical errors and surnames first, I have left them as is, with the exception that I have transcribed them with surnames last. Please note that some dates are obviously incorrect as will be noted with an asterisk * |
