WILLIS LINCH a base born child aged nine years is bound apprentice to JAMES CONNER(?) to larn the art & calling of a Shoe Maker untill he arrive at lawfull age.

MARTHA LANCKFORD aged eleven years is bound an apprentice to JOHN WENANT to learn the art & calling of a Spinster

JOHN T. KELLY orphan of JAMES KELLY deceased is bound unto WILLIS RHYMES until he arrive at lawfull age, he being now fourteen years old to learn the art & calling of a Taylor.

EDWARD MURDEN charged with having sold & caused to be removed out of the State a certain boy by the name of WILLIE LAWRENCE who as bound unto him by this Court at February Session 1795 as an Apprentice being a free born child of colour; and that a certain JOHN HARRISON is also concerned therein &c. The Court having heard the charges alledged do order that they enter into recognicance for their appearance at the next Superior Court to be held for Halifax District then & there to answer to the State to such matters & things as shall be assessed against them. MURDEN was charged in the sum of £900, with their security of 300 each. HARRISON was charged in the sum of £500, with security of £166.13.4 each.
