BEN MORRISON TO DEED - 1839

This indenture made the 2nd day of March AD 1839 between Benjamin Morrison of the County of Cumberland 
and State of North Carolina of the one part and Alexander Morrison of the County and state aforesaid of the 
other part, witnesseth that the said Benjamin Morrison hart for the consideration of fifty dollars sold unto 
the said Alexander Morrison, nine hundred and ninety nine acres of land lying on the waters of Walkers Creek. 
Beginning at a stake and three pines the old corner of the speculation land in the bounds of David Walker's 
land (formerly McDougald's) runs thence south etc then East one hundred and forty chains to a stake and gum 
pointers thence south seventy nine West eight chains to a large Pine, thence North eleven West one hundred 
and thirty three and two chains fifteen links to a Pine the corner, then North ten, West six chains fifty 
links to a stake and pointers thence direct to the beginning which land I the said  Benjamin Morrison having 
purchased for the taxes due thereon from John Black, late Sheriff of the county aforesaid on the 12th day of 
November 1832, do myself, my heirs, executors administrators warrant and defend forever unto the said Alexander 
Morrison and his heirs from all persons and claims whatsoever claiming by me.
