These abandoned gravestones are in a field just east of Angier on Hwy 210. They are the parents of 
Jacob Calvin "Jake" Williams, 1834-1912 who donated the land to form the town of Angier and is 
called the "Father of Angier".
 
The photo on left is the gravestone of Jacob Williams and reads 1784 - 1866.

The photo in middle is gravestone of Mary Ellis 1802-1859. Mary was born in Virginia and was the second wife of Jacob.
 
The photo on right is gravestone of Zilpha Page, first wife of Jacob. No birth date but she died in 1813.
There are no other graves here.
