To get to this cemetery, take Hwy. 276 down Jonathan's Creek toward
I-40 and
Tennessee. Take Joe Carver Road which turns off to the left beside the
old Rock Hill School (now the Good Samaritan Baptist Church) approximately
1 mile. The cemetery is on the right off of Joe Carver Road marked only
by a very small sign which says "cemeteries."
Going through the gate and to the top of the hill, this cemetery will
be on your left.
This cemetery is completely surrounded by a cinder block wall five runs
high with steps going up and over the wall. There are a few graves marked
only with fieldstones and a few with markers which have become unreadable.
I have listed all these as "unknown."
This cemetery has been beautifully maintained. It is inside a pasture,
so any visitors should be very careful to close all gates securely.
