Haywood Co. Public Library 402 S. Haywood St. Waynesville, NC 28786-4350 PH: 704- 452 - 5169 Hours are: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 9pm, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 6pm. Saturdays from 9am to 5pm and Sundays from 1:30 to 5pm. The library has a North Carolina room which contains many local family histories, assorted books on Haywood County and on surrounding counties, a clipping file, and loose papers file, as well as Haywood county census records, marriage records, deeds, and court records on microfilm. They also have the Latter Day Saints Family Search available on CD-Rom. |
