A meeting of the Wardens of the Poor was held at the Court House on Swan Quarter for the purpose of appointing a warden of the poor in the place of Jesse M. Jordan, deceased, and were present at the meeting--
A.B. Swindell, John Benson, David S. Gibbs, William Buffalow, Green BridgmanAnd resolved that we appoint Simeon H. Ritch to fill the vacancy of Jesse M. Jordan, dec'd., as a warden of the poor for the County of Hyde. This November the 30th 1852.
