Martha Dollie (O'Neal) Taylor Sawyer

Martha "Dollie" O'Neal, daughter of David Warren O'Neal & Mrs. Mary Louisa Clark Swindell, was born Feb. 26, 1887 and died Apr. 7, 1953. Dollie was first married to George Washington Taylor and they lived in the Engelhard Voting Prct. in 1920. George died on Nov. 29, 1926 [see Hyde County Messenger - Dec. 1926 (Deaths) and Dollie married for the second time to John Owen Sawyer on Jan. 5, 1929. Dollie was listed as age 41 and John age 47 on the marriage license. They lived in Swan Quarter Twp. in 1930. |
