Feb. Term 1868 - Petition of Nancy Ashley, widow of [no name written] for one years provision for herself and 2 children.  She states that her husband died about the first day of December last.  On the petition of Nancy, widow of Benjamin Ashley, commissioners were appointed to view the estate and set apart to his widow and her family provisions for one year.  /s/ Sandford A. Long, JP, Thos. M. Davis, Little Samuel Midyett & Samuel G. Ballance, Commissioners.

April 18, 1868 - Commissioners set off one years provision for Nancy Ashley and family amounting to $217.12.  /s/ S.A. Long, JP, Thos. M. Davis, L.S. Midyett, Commissioners.  Report was returned into Court at May Term 1868.
