May 14, 1860 - Zorababel Gaskins, administrator, and Hezekiah F. Barnett, surety, signed a bond for $150

NOTE:  Stephen D. Barnett was born May 29, 1833 and died Oct. 21, 1859.  He married Rebecca M. Gaskins on July 9, 1857.  Rebecca was born Nov. 15, 1836 and died the same day as her husband when they and their small baby were lost at sea when their schooner, the Mary Louisa, wrecked in the breakers off Ocracoke.
