Aug. 11, 1897 - Benja L. Weston states that Paul Midyette, late of Hyde County, is dead without leaving any will or testament and that he is the proper person entitled to Letters of Administration on the estate which is valued at about $150.00 and that the following persons are entitled as heirs and distributees thereof:
1) Thomas Midyette
2) Cora Rue, wife of Leonard Rue
3) Mary Clayton, wife of J.M. Clayton
4) Brittie Ann Guthrie, wife of C.F. Guthrie
5) Eliza Weston, wife of B.L. Weston
6) Bertha Swindell, wife of Charles Swindell
7) Samuel Midyette
8) Marvin Midyette
