This small, family cemetery is located on private property at 119 Magg Smith Road, near the intersection of Oak Grove Road in Pollocksville. Many thanks to Bonnie Barrett for submitting the cemetery information.
Bonnie describes the cemetery as follows: ” It appears there is a collection of at least four different families at this gravesite. My grandparents, John D. Monette and Nancy Elizabeth Monette plus possibly Great Grandparents are buried at this location. Other family names at the grave site are Hargett and Shute, not related to the Monette Family. There are a few grave markers enclosed in a metal fence; however, I was unable to read the names. On one of my relative’s death certificate, I think the grave site is called Oak Grove cemetery.”
