AfriGeneas African Ancestored Genealogy

AfriGeneas is a helpful African-American ancestry research site, offering numerous resources, but it is not Mecklenburg specific.

The vision, as recorded on the welcome page of the site is “To find and document that last slaveholder and the first African in each family.”

A beginners guide is available at this page.
