WALKER<\/strong>, aged 46 years; and on the 19th, <strong>Mr. James WALKER<\/strong>, husband of the above, aged 56 years. \u00a0Thus within one week has wife and husband &#8211; mother and father, been removed from time to eternity, leaving six orphan children to mourn their sad bereavement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the May 7, 1847 issue of the Raleigh Register newspaper, the following notice appeared: DIED &#8211; In Mecklenburg County, on the 12th ult., Margaret M.
