Ronald died from an undetermined explosion. His body was recovered. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill F. Griffin of Charlotte, NC. He served with Echo Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, &#8220;Screaming Eagles&#8221;.
