Death:\u00a0 Nov. 13, 1968 Binh Dinh Province, Vietnam.<\/p>\n

SP4 Donald Larry Keeter native of Charlotte, NC was a member of the Army Selective Service and a Draftee, 23 years old and was married. It was reported that Donald died from artillery fire. His body was recovered.<\/p>\n

He served with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, “Cacti Forever”, 4th Infantry Division.\u00a0 The decorations earned by SP4 Donald L. Keeter include: The Combat Infantryman’s Badge, The Bronze Star Medal, The Purple Heart medal for his combat wounds, The National Defense Service Medal, The Vietnam Service Medal, The Vietnam Campaign Medal and The Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Unit Citation.<\/p>\n

Burial: Sharon Memorial Park<\/a> Charlotte, Mecklenburg Co., NC.<\/p>\n
